Scouting Report
As a sophomore, Kathleen helped guide Toll Gate to the Division II fast-pitch crown with her steady play in center field, earning second-team All-State honors for her efforts. She moved up to the first team this season after helping the Titans make a seamless transition to Division I, but this time by playing rock-solid defense at third base. Toll Gate finished tied for third with Cumberland during the regular season and then advanced deep into the playoffs thanks to Bannon's bat, as well. Hitting a team high .549, the junior led the Titans in every offensive category including doubles, triples, home runs and RBI's (15). "Katie had a tremendous impact on the team. She is excellent in pressure situations, and there were a lot of games where she came through with the game winning hit with two outs. She was always a great influence on the other players. She is a great role model and very team oriented."
