Sam Longo is one of those rare athletes that coaches are able to build teams around. Sam has unending hustle on the field and sets the tone for our practices and games. When he breaks the huddle he immediately gets attention due to his imposing size but what really sets him apart is what happens after the ball is snapped. We use Sam's strength and speed to get our backs into the end zone and protect the quarterback from hungry defensive linemen and blitzing linebackers. My athletic goals for football are to help lead my team to a state championship, average 10 knockdown/pancake blocks a game, be awarded All-State honors and earn a Division I football scholarship. My scholastic goals are to reach and maintain a 4.0 GPA for the rest of my academic career, stay on the Honor Roll for the rest of high school My life goals are to get a degree in criminology while playing football and play in the NFL.
