I have known Valerie Zamora for over 5 years. She has an extremely high work ethic, drive and determination that is second to none. I have seen her blossom into an exceptional basketball player. She would be a wonderful asset to any program on and off the court.
She picks apart defenses and sees the court well. A very unselfish playmaker. She reminds me of Kim Mulkey, former Louisiana Tech point guard and now head coach at Baylor. A starter as a freshman, she has continued to grow and mature with every obstacal that has been put in front of her. She has had three head coaches in her High School career and done very well with each of them.
Valerie is very coachable and a delight to have on your team. She is a fierce competitor and team leader - she never quits. She has many more assets that you cannot measure in the scorebook (HEART!).
